Dental Marketing: what is it and what is it for ?

Dental Marketing is defined as the way in which we are going to relate to our current and potential patients. Within marketing, not only the service we offer and the price of our treatments influence, but the communications we make with our users, directly or indirectly , are also especially relevant .

How do I start working on the Marketing of my dental clinic ?

Good question! As in Dentistry, in Marketing and Communication it is also necessary to start with a good analysis and an accurate diagnosis . To do this, the main thing is to make an examination of your clinic and its characteristics, studying its strengths and threats, and thoroughly knowing the environment and the nearby competition.

In this phase we will ask ourselves some questions, such as:

  • What other dental clinics are in my area? What are they communicating?
  • What patient profile comes to my clinic?
  • How am I different from the competition? Am I communicating my differential values?
  • Am I visible enough on the Internet?

Once this assessment has been made, we will be able to know what aspects we need to improve to increase our reputation and get more patients.

We will then begin to propose the most appropriate marketing actions to achieve it and we will program them over time, through a calendar of daily, weekly and monthly activities.

It is necessary to pay attention to each of the communication channels through which we will achieve our objectives , such as:

  • Social media.
  • Web page.
  • Emailing or WhatsApp.
  • Digital Advertising.
  • Positioning in search engines (SEO).
  • Physical advertising.
  • The execution of these actions must be frequent and of quality, maintaining a personal and honest approach with the patient or user.
  • It is about showing all the positive things we can do for the health and oral aesthetics of each person who lives in our area of influence, so that they feel truly attracted to come to our dental office.

How to take advantage of the benefits of the sun

Published

on

These are the 7 healthy benefits of the sun

You have breakfast every morning, get enough sleep and cycle to work. That sounds like a good recipe for more energy. But you are really forgetting one thing: the sun! A healthy portion of sunlight not only gives us a good feeling but also boosts your body and mind in a natural way. So enjoy the sun more often (wisely!) and discover these seven benefits.

1. Sweat and drink more

It may not sound so fresh, but it sure is healthy. The sun makes you sweat faster and that is good for your kidneys. Waste products leave your body through your skin so that your kidneys have a quieter time. The sun also forces us to drink more, because the heat makes you thirsty faster. And drinking a lot of water provides more energy. Of course, this only applies to drinking water; alcohol actually dehydrates your body.

2. Good Blood Pressure

When we are exposed to sunlight, small amounts of nitric oxide are transported from the skin into the bloodstream. As a result, the blood vessels become less stiff and the blood pressure decreases. This was discovered by researchers from the University of Southampton and Edinburgh. The risk of having a heart attack or stroke also decreases. If your blood pressure is normal and especially not too high, you feel better about yourself and you feel fitter at the same time.

3. Wake up rested by the sun

Do you feel tired? Get into the sun! In the summer it is light for longer, so you are more active and get tired less quickly. The quality of your sleep also improves. Studies show that sunlight provides deeper, uninterrupted sleep. And the earlier you catch the first rays of the sun in the morning, the easier it is to fall asleep in the evening and wake up whistling again.

4. Less burden of skin conditions

People who suffer from psoriasis, acne, or eczema often benefit from sunlight. Many skin conditions are calmed by the sun. That’s because your immune system calms down a bit thanks to sunlight, so your skin gets better. Plus: you will also feel better if you suffer less from these complaints.

5. Get rid of stress

There is nothing better than that warm feeling on your skin. UV radiation makes you feel more relaxed. Sunlight creates chemicals that make you feel happier and less stressed. And stress is a major energy guzzler. That is why it is important to sit in the sun every now and then.

6. More Vitamin D

Those who produce too little vitamin D (and almost all of us suffer from this in the Netherlands), can suffer from loss of strength in the muscles, fragile bones, and a lack of energy. The Health Council does not recommend it for anything: try to be outside for 15 minutes to half an hour every day to take in the sun’s rays.

7. Less appetite

Leptin is a hormone that indicates when your stomach is full. With a lot of suns, more leptin will be produced, so that you will be full faster. A full feeling is good for your mood (and prevents extra kilos). More leptin, please!

7 healthy juices to consume as often as possible

Published

on

Juices, of course, are not a complete replacement for whole fruits and vegetables, but they bring no less health benefits. In addition to providing the body with nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, they help replenish fluids and prevent dehydration.

Often, doctors recommend avoiding large amounts of juices, as they contain a lot of sugar and little to no fiber. But from time to time you can treat yourself to a glass of freshly squeezed drink. Most of them are not only tasty but also very healthy, according to Joinfo.com. They are effective in preventing cancer, age-related diseases, stomach diseases and even improving memory.

But be careful: even the healthiest juices are recommended to be consumed in moderation.

Orange juice

Loaded with vitamin C, orange juice helps control blood cholesterol levels and prevents inflammation in the body that can be caused by eating excessively fatty food in Austin foods. Those who drink a citrus drink after a meal are thought to have lower blood levels of inflammatory cytokine molecules than those who drink only water.

Lemonade

No, no, we are not talking about sweet soda, well known to everyone since childhood. Lemonade is actually lemon juice diluted with water, and this is obviously a more accurate definition of it.

Lemon juice is especially useful for people with a predisposition to urolithiasis. According to studies, regular consumption of lemonade can reduce the likelihood of recurrent kidney stones by 90%.

But in case of stomach problems such as gastritis and ulcers, lemon juice should be consumed with great care. It is naturally very sour and sweetening only dulls its taste, but the high acidity remains.

Grape juice

If you want to help your brain work faster, improve memory and cognitive functions, drink grape juice. Adults who regularly consume a glass of this miraculous drink a day for 12 weeks, after this period, cope better with intellectual stress.

Cranberry juice

The phytochemicals found in cranberries have a beneficial effect on the digestive system. Moreover, a 2011 study confirms that cranberry juice inhibits the activity of bacteria, including Helicobacter pylori, which contribute to the development of gastritis and stomach ulcers.

Tomato juice

The antioxidant lycopene found in tomatoes helps reduce the risk of many forms of cancer. In general, it is recommended to drink juices from various vegetables – they have a number of unique properties that contribute to the health of the whole organism.

plum juice

These fruits are high in potassium, fiber, and beneficial antioxidants. Plum juice contains the sugar alcohol sorbitol, which is a natural laxative that is very beneficial for people with digestive problems.

Pomegranate juice

This juice is a real elixir of youth. It is especially rich in antioxidants that help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Pomegranate juice contains even more of these beneficial nutrients than green tea and red wine. It is also useful for people suffering from diseases of the cardiovascular system.

In addition to the fact that juices are beneficial for the whole body, some of them help get rid of excess weight. Give preference to natural drinks that have the ability to remove toxins and toxins.

Catering trends in 2022 (Food and Beverage Survival Guide)

Published

on

Hey there, I am Eric Peer and today I will tell you about new catering trends of 2022. So lets get started.

About 2021

Whether or not I considered myself a foodie pre-pandemic, chances are lockdown inspired me to dabble in a bit of home cooking. In the food and beverage industry, there were plenty of new trends across 2021 that were often inspired by the pandemic and associated restrictions.

2022 catering trends

There are so many food and beverage trends that i see in 2022. Let me explain some of them on the basis of foods.

New Dinning Experiences

In 2022 there is a lot more cool dining experiences to be had both at home and in restaurants, and more risk-taking in a year where taking risks doesn’t seem that far out anymore. Expect to see the interactive dining scene continue to evolve throughout the year.

BREAKFAST GOES GOURMET

In 2022, I see more and more delicious breakfast options from both fast food takeaways and dine-in restaurants (including more all day breakfast options!) It is the most important meal of the day, after all.

Private Chef

Private chefs are seeing a boom in eating out in restaurants, and they’re great in more ways than just one. They offer more creative ways of cooking, bespoke individualized, menus, and a whole extra element of fun and excitement to a dinner party. I see the people with private chef in 2022.

Beverage Trends

As for as the beverage trend is concern, there are so many new trends that I see.

Non-ALCOHOLIC DRINKS

In 2022 I see a rise in non-alcoholic ‘adult drinks’, anything from beer to wine to cocktails. People want the enjoyment of drinking a fancy drink, but don’t always want to get plastered. Plus, there are the health benefits of going non-alcoholic too. It’s no longer weird or frowned upon – non-alcoholic may even be the new norm!

HEALTHY BEVVIES

There are new ‘healthy’ beverages like probiotic hard kombucha and spirits boasting antioxidant infusions that I see in 2022. Who knows, I even see cocktails bursting with collagen and other fancy ‘health-packed’ ingredients.
